Thank You Chacha!!

January 2008 - I delivered a beautiful baby boy, and was left with a not so beautiful sixty pounds. I returned to work in April and brought forty of the sixty pounds with me. I knew from a previous birth, that I would have trouble loosing the weight. Someone suggested I work out with a trainer to improve my muscle tone and get in shape. I enlisted Chacha's services in April 2008, and began working out with her twice a week. She placed me on a weight lifting regime, suggested an eating plan, and suggested I increase my cardio. I ran my first 5K with Chacha in July, 2008! I lost a pound here, a pound there, by October, 2008 I had lost ten pounds, and gained some endurance. In November, 2008, I stopped nursing, and lost another ten pounds over the next two months.

It's now January 2009 - I have lost forty pounds, (20 pounds with Chacha), gained muscle (I love my muscle) and substantially increased by stamina (which I need for my two children, ages one and three). I am stronger, leaner, healthier, and the weight is coming off! I now run three days per week and weight train with Chacha two days per week. It has been a long road, but Chacha has kept me motivated (there were times when "discouraged" was my middle name).

I will be running a 5k in April to celebrate one year with Chacha, and "hopefully" my goal weight.
